Well, often times it is because they fail to see that the business opportunity was not viable and junk to begin with! Can this trap be avoided? Problem #1: Many home based business opportunities, especially the new ones, are not yet proven. Unfortunately most opportunities are all too new! The market for the products and services are not well established yet. Consequently, the only people who can get rich from such an opportunity are independently rich Fortune 500 companies who have lots of extra money to disburse. Any opportunity that is too new can be risky too! It is worthwhile to allow anyone who can afford it break the ice.

Problem #2: Most of the moneymaking methods are very similar and out-of-date programs and plans. Most all home based business opportunities mention that they are original and resourceful, but they're really not. Some may have that new look, but in fact are only a sham! After doing some research on the net, you will see that there is nothing "new" at all about them. The wise thing to do is to select an opportunity that is better than others, is well-founded, and is part of an irristable mixture of the three multi-billion dollar trends.

Problem #3: Countless home based business opportunities just make the promoters wealthy. Average people who are involved in these plans almost never make any money. Only those considered the "heavy hitters" make the real money; it is these people who have all the so-called connections.

Problem #4: Many of the most eager and impressive money making opportunities are dishonest and illegal. This is something that has to be avoided at all costs! Do not, ever, sign-up with any home based business opportunity that looks appealing and sounds too good to be true. First, always ask yourself, what exactly is the service or product this opportunity is promoting, where is the market for this product or service that is supposed to take the world by storm. And would it be possible to make lots of money without all the hype and buzz?

Problem #5: The majority of home based business opportunities are not very long lasting. In other words, they are here today and gone tomorrow! They are all big talk with no set foundation to back them up; there is no "actual" service or product. When all the hype runs out, the market is gone for good! Whatever you do, beware and do not become involved in a home based business opportunity subject to absolute hype.
