You Have Got To Read This If You Have Ever Considered Your Own Internet Business!

I have for years looked for a viable internet base business opportunity; time after time I have been burnt! If you are reading this you probably have as well, let me share some of the secrets that I have learned over the past few years. I have found that 78% of all internet based business is a scam and a rip-off. 100% that give you the impression of instant wealth are to be avoided at all cost. Anytime they promise you pie in the sky, guess what, that is what you are going to get!

Never fall into the trap of greed, if you want to succeed in this society, you’ve got to be willing to put forth the effort and be honest with the highest levels of integrity.

I feel that it is criminal that these scams are allowed on the internet and should be pursued and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If it was any other industry then the internet you can be assured that it would be.

If you are serious about an internet business that will overtime produce a comfortable income you need to look for a couple of things. First and foremost, if it sounds too good to be true in most probably is. We have all been taught that concept since our youth but our greed seems at times to overcome the knowledge that we have gained over the years. Look for something that does not promise you that you will have thousands of dollars coming in each month within a short amount of time. Secondly, find an opportunity that allows you to help people; it is true that by helping people you will be rewarded. Many large successful corporations live by this standard and that is why they are thriving.

If you have passion about something you will succeed at it, get involved in something that you believe in that is your surest guarantee of future success. Don’t let greed and the desire to get rich rule you, most people that fall into this trap will fail. Instead set your sites on what you can do for others, how you can help them and you will see the results of that in the form of many blessings!

What ever internet business you choose, make sure it is reputable and be prepared to put forth some effort to make it grow into whatever your needs are. Find something that a large percentage of the population needs, you will be helping them to meet their needs. What a great feeling that is, even better then the monthly paycheck you will receive. Get your priorities right, then go forward and help as many people as you can!

I wish you the greatest success!

Eight Steps to Ruining Your Internet Business

You may not realize that there is a technique to failure. For those of you who can not fail properly, just follow these simple steps and I personally guarantee you to be a total wash-out.

1. Know hype as your friend: Earn $10,000 per hour while drinking lemonade and getting a massage. Gotta go for that one. It’s a real bargain at $29.95.

2. Never research a program: For those who simply cannot accept hype as their buddy, fear not. Having no reliable information about a company works almost as well.

3. Never spend money: Hey, this is all free. If I wanted to make an investment, I’d open a store on Main Street with a $6,000 lease payment every month, $50,000 in inventory, and shell out $10,000 every two weeks in payroll. Yep, that’s how I’d do it. But I sure won’t spend $200 on an effective lead generator.

4. Do not take your business seriously: Who cares? I’d rather be playing free cell.

5. Get as many site hits as humanly possible: Use every advertising source available. So what if BuckHunter103 visits my site on banning all firearms in the world. My hit counter is spinning!

6. Have no plan: Flailing blindly in the dark is sure to waste lots of time and leave you discouraged. A must for failing.

7. Work as little as possible: Work is the ultimate enemy of failure. Where’s that darn free cell bookmark?

8. Quit: If you’ve followed my plan so far, and it still seems you’re on the verge of success, there’s only one thing left to do. QUIT!

Over 90% of internet business owners have followed this plan and failed miserably in just a few short days or weeks. Are you next?

An Internet Business for the Young at Heart

For the young at heart who are ready to take the plunge and start their own business but are worried as to how they may cope, this article shows you how you can do just that with the right training.

Are you feeling like I was - ready for a new challenge of generating an easier income on the Internet that actually seems like fun?

In other words, are you searching for An Internet Business For The Young At Heart?

Knowledge Is power

Coming for a family background of teachers, I should probably have learned earlier what I believe now and that is that the answer to happiness and success is in education. I have seen time and time again people lacking in confidence grow and achieve what was once beyond their wildest dreams, once they began to appreciate the benefits of knowledge.

A Company That Knows Its Marketing

Oddly enough, there are people at the other end of the spectrum who came out of school feeling over educated and unable to cope with the demands of the more people based problems in the world.

Just so we know where we stand here, I came out with neither a classical nor street wise education and made mistake after mistake in life to prove it ( quite a hopeless case really ). More of that below.

What is required to be successful are the appropriate skills to be a success ( and if that sounds obvious, you have to ask why so many people are not a success in Internet Business - young at heart of otherwise! ). Make sure that you only sign up to a business where the training is provided as part of the deal and not just on a promise from a prospective sponsor - unless, of course, you’re already familiar with ways of the Internet!

The Skills To Success

I really cannot say whether there is a magic ingredient to this but I have noticed that the top earners all seem to have their fair share of the following. Some computer skills, empathy and an ability to present themselves well either in the written word or on camera.

Something else seems to come out of all this as well and that is their ability to be comfortable in their own skin. In other words, they are not frightened to lead.

Can I Really Become All These Things?

If I can do this, I defy anyone who has got as far as reading this article on a computer not to. After all, as I said above, my education was practically non existent. The good news is that you can learn all of these skills and make money at the same time! Indeed, once you grasp the underlying necessities, you can earn as much or as little as you choose - depending on the lifestyle you prefer to adopt.

If you are still feeling young at heart enough to learn to run a business on the Internet, then I would love to hear from you.

Using my previous experience of running a business for 15 years, I enjoy helping people set up business in my Internet Marketing Team. If you're young at heart enough to start an Internet business, please come to my website An Internet Business For The Young At Heart hilaryahughes.com

Starting a Profitable Internet Business is a Choice & Not a Gift

As I flipped open my laptop to count how many sales I have generated overnight, I felt fulfilled. For many years I have tried endlessly to earn a living working from home with just a computer connected to the internet but my dream was cut short by my inner most desire for quick riches on the internet.

When I first had stories about people making money online, I thought it was one of those hypes. And after discovering that some people are actually earning a living working from home on the internet with just a computer, I began my search with an unrealistic expectation. I thought making money on the internet was all about logging onto my system and click, click, click and the cash starts coming, I was wrong. It took me six years to finally get it right. In the process I learnt success is not a gift but all about choice.

I have joined so many programs online but none worked for me until I found “The Plug-In-Profit-Site” which is a Complete TurnKey.
The Plug-In -Profit-Site runs an affiliate marketing business online where you refer people to buy any of the numerous product/services of the affiliated company for a commission. This kind of internet business is so lucrative that people are giving up their day jobs for a full time. However before you can start earning from this type of business you need to have the basic experience of internet marketing.

Below are some of the benefits of the Plug-In-Profit-Site.

1. E-commerce Website- It’s now an old story that who ever wants to earn real income from working as an affiliate marketer must have a good website. Most people don’t know what HTML and Java is. HTML is the mark up language used to create documents on the world wide web while Java is a trademark for a high-level computer programming language that allows small programs to be downloaded from a server to a client along with the data that each program processes.

One thing the Plug-In-Profit-Site does for newbies is to build a FREE brand new automated website that is ready to accept online payment. Most company charge an average of $250 to design a website for you but the “Plug-In-Profit-Site” does it for you FREE of charge. And you can customise it to look just the way you want.

2. Earning Potential- The Plug-In-Profit-Site has a 6 multiple streams of income opportunity. Why make money one way when you can actually be earning a six multiple income with just one website using the same effort and resources. Meaning you will be saving more on your ad campaign expense and your advertising dollar will have value.

Another reason people join the affiliate marketing business is because of the residual and leverage income plan. How will you feel when you get paid over and over again for just one sale you generate. Yes, affiliate marketing business is the only venture where people earn a recurring income year in year out.

3. Training- This is the most crucial part of the business. Imagine driving a formula one car without a teaching instructor. The same applies to starting an internet business. This third benefit is why over 70% of people fail in affiliate marketing business. To be successful you need to know how to properly advertise your products to your prospect. Here are some of the most essential marketing strategy to an internet entrepreneur: SEO, Pay Per Click, Article marketing, Blogging, Solo Ezines e.t.c. Once you master this acts, you can then begin to earn money on auto-pilot.

The Plug-In-Profit-Site provides a detailed timely training to help you launch your business the right way. Even better most of all these methods can be automated. You apply it once and your business ad will run throughout the world. Note some work on your part is largely required. Do not give your false expectation. Do the job and get the money. Leave the job and forsake the money.

Perhaps you will understand how relief I was when counting my overnight sales. The choice is yours remember, I almost gave up many years ago. Now let me ask you this question, how close are you to success? You never can tell.

Use my resource link and let me personally show you how to work from home with your computer.

Internet Home Based Business - 3 Tips To Help Your Internet Business Succeed

Success is a mental process, not just an external event. For the home based internet entrepreneur, profitability and success depend a lot more on outlook and mindset. So for your internet home based business to succeed, you will need not only a good product and well-researched business plan, but a fierce desire and determination to succeed.

Home based internet businesses, just like any other project, can be tailored to fit a variety of work habits and time commitments. But in order to start that process of customization, consider these three tips to not only help your internet home based business succeed in the long run, but to help you at any stage of building your internet home based business.

1. Always ask yourself, “Is what I am doing right at this very moment help me to further my internet home based business or make my next sale?” This will provide you with a yes or no option rather than providing you with an opportunity to give a subjective answer. That way if your answer is no, you can refer back to your well-researched internet home based business plan to correct your present behavior.

2. Work in 1 hour blocks, interspersed with a 10 minute break every 50 minutes. Make sure to stay hydrated by drinking one glass of water every hour, which will optimize your thought processes and brain function.

3. Start with the end goal in mind. Determine your final outcome before beginning any project, both big and small. That includes your internet home based business plan as a whole, and the individual tasks necessary to complete the big picture. Ideally, you should plan the daily activities you want to accomplish the night before or in the early morning. Always set long and short term goals, such as buy a new Porsche or research a particular internet home based business niche market, for the necessary motivation.

These behaviors do not come naturally to all, but all are capable of developing them. Practice makes perfect! Find a way to motivate yourself, and do it. Think of the times you have been motivated in the past, and apply those behaviors or thoughts to motivate your goal setting for your internet home based business.

As you get better, you will be able to analyze the best aspects of your internet home based business and apply them again and again for increased efficiency and income. For example, if you have a loyal customer that buys from you again and again for whatever reason, determine how you were able to secure that customer and do a profile analysis of him or her, so you can seek out similar profitable customers for your internet home based business.

How to Get Internet Money and Find Success With Your Internet Business

You hear about people getting online every day to start their own home business and finding success. You can easily find success with your own internet business if you do what it takes to make it happen for you. One thing that successful business owners understand is that getting internet money doesn't have to be hard, it just takes a few things from you to make it happen.

When you want your own part of internet money you have to do some very important things. If you don't do these things than you will always find yourself struggling to make money and find success. Here are the things that you have to do.

One: Education - You have to take the time needed to learn all you can about building an internet business and about marketing your business. Learning is something you will do every day when you have a home business. The more you are willing to learn about the easier you will find it to build your business and make internet money.

Two: Marketing - This is imperative to making internet money and finding success. If you don't market your internet business then people can't find you. You have to get your website and business in front of as many people as you can. This is where the education will come in because you will continuously be learning how to market your business.

Three: Hard work - Too many people get online and start a business expecting to find success right away without any work or very little work. Having an internet business is just like having a business offline. You have to treat it like a business and work hard to make is succeed. This is just a fact of life that applies to all areas, including building a business.

Four: Time and effort - The more time you spend building your business the more internet money you will make. Your business will build according to how much time and effort you put into building it, if you are not willing to spend time and effort than you shouldn't start your own business.

These are not all of the things that you will have to do to build your business and make internet money but they are the most important. Don't ignore even one of these things because if you do you will find it very hard to make your internet business successful.

Home Business and Internet Business-How to Integrate the Two

Internet business is such a wonderful thing, especially since there is an element of automation that you can add into it. It is so nice when someone buys something when you are sleeping and the money is in your account the next morning!

I am assuming that your home business has an internet element. People find you online. They buy from you online. But perhaps you don’t think enough about the potential of the online business because you have offline business, local business, too.

It is so easy to simply add on an internet element to your home business and begin adding in some automation to the money you make with your regular business. Imagine that if you set appointments in your home business – imagine if you could have people set their own appointments online! Imagine if people could buy from you online, instead of calling you!

But what if you knew there was an entire market, an entire world out there, just waiting to develop a relationship with someone from who they could purchase things they need, someone with whom they could do business.

Now, I am not saying to take out the personal element all together, just experiment with some automation to your business.

And it is easy to think that that business, that personal business, is easiest developed offline. That is, of course, where you meet most people with whom you talk and relate.

And when you merge both the home business and the internet business – and it can be done – you can make more money with less effort.

Are You Aware Of The Legal Regulations Of Operating An Internet Business

by wealthonline

A real home based Internet business has to comply with the same legal regulations as an Internet business from any other location. Here are the basic legal issues with which a real home based Internet business owner must be familiar.

The first issue, and a real concern for any home based Internet business is the restriction based on age. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) follows the regulations spelled out in COPPA, the Children 's Online Privacy Protection Act, and requires that children under the age of 13 cannot disclose their personal information unless a parent consents to it. Children under the age of 18 cannot be allowed to view adult content on the Internet, nor can they enter into any contract.

Real time occurrences on the Web, such as chats, must be controlled by the home based Internet business owner. Bulletin boards would have the same control issues. The rules of using each should solicit and retain the consent of each online user to refrain from posting pornography, defamatory material or anything that infringes on others rights. Your company should also clearly state on its site that you are not liable for other users that commit to following your policies and guidelines but subsequently violating them.

To make real your ownership of all property and content on your home based business Internet site you'll need a copyright notice on the site 's footer. The notice should have the date and your name and the statement 'All rights reserved.' A real copy of your home based business Internet site should be field with the U.S. copyright office. This will effectively record ownership of the contents of the site, as well as its look and its feel.

Your site 's domain name is an important part of the branding and marketing for your Internet business. It is best to tie that domain name as closely as possible to your logo, your brand and your business name. Carefully choose a domain name that clearly conveys the products or services of your real home based Internet business. Register your domain name as a trademark and you can retain ownership should it be challenged by another business.

If your site is on the World Wide Web then you must comply with export regulations. If you sell goods over the Internet to these global consumers then you are exporting items for sale and entering into international countries. If your site is encrypted then you are exporting to other countries U.S. Department of Commerce and Defense technology. There are many U.S. federal agencies that have regulations in force for doing business with other countries, and the times and circumstances that require a firm to get an export license to send information, technology or goods abroad.

There are countries with whom business transactions are limited severely for U.S. firms. These countries are Cuba, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Syria and Yugoslavia. The best decision about the real problems you might encounter for your home based Internet business doing business with these countries and/ or its residents should be made with your attorney.

By © Arthur, The Online Internet Home Business Opportunity

Whether you like it or not, the search engine will always remain the number ONE way for people to find your internet business website. There are practically no way any website can escape from the clutches of the search engine even in the future to come. After so many century of research, researchers still can't find a good replacement for petrol which cars still rely on and that explain why oil will keep rising in the future to come.

Yes, you may write FREE articles and submit it to the various ezine website and get traffic via your article resource box but ask yourself these questions:

In the first place, how do you find those ezine website to submit your article?

The majority of ezine writers still rely on the "Search Engine" to find ezine site to submit their articles by searching for keywords such as "article bank", "article directory" etc. Imagine the kind of time and effort required if you tried to find these ezine site without the "Search Engine".

How do MOST people find the relevant ezine site for information that they are looking for?

Again, the majority of us still rely on the "Search Engine" to find the relevant information that we need. Without the "Search Engine", information finders will not be able to find your articles that are listed on the various ezine website. With the help of powerful "Search Engine" like google, your relevant article will appear to the user in seconds.

As you can see from the above, the search engine act as a bridge for all internet website as it will be very difficult for someone to find information without a common ground such as the Search Engine.

Therefore, as an Internet Business Entrepreneur, it is VERY important for you to allocate part of your time to learn and understand the Search Engine. For example, Google has introduced some measured to fight Domain Spamming. If you are not aware of its changes and still register your Internet Business Domain with a short time span of one or two years, then don't wonder WHY you still did not received any Search Engine traffics even after staying in the Google Sandbox for nine to twelve months which has become the normal period before any NEW website is release as search results from the Google Search Engine.

Keeping your Internet Website within the Search Engine requirement allows you to receive FREE Search Engine traffics which will lead to increase customers for your Internet Business.

Of course, don't focus too much on your Search Engine Ranking Algorithm as it is something which keep changing and is beyond your control. Instead, seek to understand by creating a Search Engine Friendly website that make it easy for the Search Engine to indexed your web page. For e.g. creating relevant Title, Alt Text for Images, Getting only Highly Targeted Relevant Links, Estimate Numbers of Correct Keyword Density on Each Page etc.

However, do continue with your Article Marketing as it is a Good Marketing Strategy and include Search Engine Marketing as your second source of FREE traffics which at time when you tweak it correctly, your TRAFFICS can really double or triple of what you can get from your Article Marketing method.

Wishing all Internet Business Owner success in getting High Traffics from the "Search Engine".

Extra Income - Internet Business For The Long Run

Do you you need extra money? How to get it? Well it all depends how urgent your needs are. A work at home Internet business can provide an excellent extra income.

However, peoples circumstances differ and their needs to make extra income comes from a variety of reasons.

Many people can't make it through the month on the regular salary, so they have to find a long term solution to make an extra income on a regular basis.

Some may decide to pay off their mortgage bond in 10 years as opposed 20 years or they are looking forward to an overseas holiday next year instead of a local one.

The extra income may be needed to pay off debts and to save for later on in life, or it's needed to pay for further education for the children.

Even though an Internet business is very simple to start and it sounds ideal to be able to work at home online, you have to recognize that it'll take time and effort, patience and determination to earn extra income online. It is not a quick fix solution and therefore it will not fit all.

To start an Internet business can be done easily, then you have to go through the learning curve to master and implement Internet marketing methods. It will take time to build momentum and generate targeted traffic to your website.

The flip side of the coin is that you can continue building your business forever. The business is yours as long as you have your own domain name and website. you will be in total control of your business and you can add and make changes to the site as you wish.

The earning potential is unlimited, it'll depend on how much efforts you put in on a consistent basis. The possibilities are endless and you could easily end up turning your part time business into a full time income and work at home online full time.

If you need the extra income urgently, lets say by the end of month, an Internet business will not meet your needs. By the end of month you might have your business launched, but there is no chance that you have built momentum and received enough targeted traffic to your website. For online short term solutions you may be better of looking for data entry opportunities and online survey income programs.

It is strongly recommended to gain a second income stream as a job is never guaranteed. The form of an extra income could be investments, property or an Internet home business.

How much money do you need when you intend to retire? The cost of living is increasing, most people don't make enough to be able to save for retirement or for an unexpected big expense.

Dont leave it too late to secure your future. If you start an Internet business, work at evenings, it'll give you time to build a solid business from which you'll make an extra online income to use when you need it.

The first and most important rule to remember when you are selecting the best Internet business idea is the one that works for you. Often times the best Internet business, idea you can come up with is one that you will have fun doing.

A founder who has enthusiasm will often help a business thrive and survive far beyond other companies in the same field. However, you cannot have enthusiasm to keep your business running if you don’t like your job.

In addition, modern technology and Internet has made it possible and easy for almost anybody to thrive with an Internet based business. As long as you love your idea and you understand it then you will have a thriving business.

The second rule you should remember when selecting the best home internet business is if there is a good marketing system in place. You need to have an advanced plan or idea that will help generate the best possible traffic to your business or subscribers to your email newsletter. While you run your business always, keep in mind that without traffic you don’t have a business no matter how good your idea is.

When selecting the best home internet business you should be on the look out for some advantages that only the best internet business opportunities would have. These advantages may not look very important at first but they will eventually make the difference between some spending money from your business opportunity and regularly taking home a six-figure check every month from your business opportunity without ever having to leave the house.

The best of the Internet business opportunities usually have a long and detailed section on affiliate information. Go to this section and check out the details. These details should provide you all the information you need to know how best to sell the Internet business opportunity. Having a large affiliate section is important since you won’t make any money off your business without sales. The larger the affiliate section the easier it will be for you to make an income off your home internet business. Some of the best opportunities even have a list of key contacts.

It is also a good idea to go with Internet business opportunities that have a detailed and specific payment policy and preferably one that allows you to be paid for second and even third tier affiliate sales. This means you are paid for sub affiliates that you introduce to the business program. This way you can earn an income off both your direct sales and those of the ones who have joined the program. This can make a big difference in the size of the paycheck you receive.

Starting an Internet Business? 10 Crucial Things to start with (Part 1)

By: Fwahmi Avessel

They say that the only thing that’s constant is change. Previously there’s flexi hours then telecommuting and now, building a business from home. Thanks to the rapid advancement of technology, it seems that the number of people jumping into the soho bandwagon shows no signs of declining any time soon.

In its 2004 The Small Business Economy report by the Small Business Administration, home-based businesses form the majority of U.S businesses. A staggering 53% to be precise!

A considerable number of those who have started businesses from home are the dot com entrepreneurs, otherwise known as internet marketers/entrepreneurs. Low (or even zero) start-up costs, risks and overheads are some of the reasons why this has become the business model of choice for many.

Another strong pull factor is the ability to capitalize on both the domestic and international markets. That’s the beauty of the internet for you.

But don’t quit your day job yet. If you think that’s all you need to know to bring in the greens, you better think twice. There is a high chance that your business will not reach its full potential if you do not factor in the following components in your business blueprint:

1) Education/Knowledge

Obtaining the right knowledge is a crucial first step that you should take before you even attempt to start. You simply can’t bake a cake the first time without first finding out what ingredients, steps and equipment that are required can you?

Educate yourself on the basics and essentials such as (but not limited to) the general internet marketing environment, legislation, web design, online scams and search engine optimization strategies before you make that jump into cyberspace.

You’ll be asking a lot of questions but you need to ask the right questions in order to get the right answers from the right people.

Learning from the experts such as Holly Mann, Mike Filsaime, Mark Joyner, Derek Gehl, Yanik Silver as well as other successful internet entrepreneurs will equip you with the valuable knowledge to form a strong foundation for your online business.

2) Right Attitude

Never ever believe for a moment that you’ll get rich by doing business online overnight. Never ever believe that running an online business is going to be easy. Promise yourself that. Do believe that with hard work, patience, determination and a positive mindset (never ever underestimate the power the human mind) you will achieve your goals.

Just because you don’t see results mean that you’re a failure and therefore you quit. It just means that something is not right somewhere. You don’t just sit there in your car when it suddenly stalls in the middle of the highway do you?

Of course not, you try to find out the problem, troubleshoot and rectify it. If all else fails, you call the towing company and a cab to resume your journey to your intended destination. You do whatever it takes, tweaking and tuning but you don’t quit.

A wise man once said, “Winners don’t quit, quitters don’t win.”

3) Time Management

Working on an internet business from home can be pretty challenging. It can also be a double-edged sword. For sure you’re closer to your family and can spend more time with them but it can also distract you from accomplishing critical tasks and goals if you do not mange your time well. Set a daily schedule and follow it. Stay organized and you’ll stay in business.

However, If you find that you are hopeless in this area and seriously need help to organize your life, www.effexis.com and www.getharvest.com are a couple of resources that you should take a look into.

4) Planning

You need to write out and execute a business plan. Note that I set the word execute in bold. You can have the most elaborate business plan but it still wouldn’t do any good if you don’t carry it out. Just a simple one will do.

This serves as a roadmap or a compass if you will. Include your short and long term goals in this plan. Many people have found that by writing these down and constantly referring to it, they have a sense of direction, stay more focused and driven to meet their objectives.

5) Research

Trust me, you do not want to skip this no matter what. One of the most common mistakes that internet marketers commit is in this area. They put in the time and effort but yet they do not get results. Why is that? This is because they did their research in a reverse manner and that’s wrong.

Instead of identifying a hungry market first and then feeding them with a suitable product/service, they do the exact opposite. Research your competition, what people are looking for and their expectations before you come up with a product/service.

In general, the offline business world conducts feasibility studies for market research purposes; internet businesses, among other methods use the search engines to assess their competition and use keyword research and suggestion tools such as Word Tracker and the Google Adwords Keyword Suggestion Tool to research and seek out potentially profitable markets.

This concludes part 1 of this article. Let’s have a quick recap of what we have covered so far. Thus far we’ve learned that Education, the right Attitude, effective Time Management, Planning and Research each have a critical role to play in starting and sustaining an internet home business. The remaining five important points which include topics such as acquiring the Right Tools, Website Promotion and more will be covered in the next instalment.

Earn Income At Home With Internet Business

By: Toi Adams

Just about anyone can earn income from home and with an internet business you can make money working at home. Many companies are willing to warehouse products for you and drop ship to your customers. By launching your website, gaining sales and developing your market you can earn a good living online.

For example, you find a source for printer cartridges that you can sell 30 to 40 percent below retail. When an order arrives, you send it in with payment, along with the address of where it should be shipped and put the balance in your pocket. Other companies may allow you to direct the customers to send their order directly to the company for processing and at the end of the month or week, the company will send you any money you earned.

Just as every person is different so is every internet business opportunity. They are not designed to be acceptable to everyone and not everyone is designed to work at home with an internet business. But once you decide to make the plunge, pretend your on the side of the pool. It is OK to dip your toe in the water and check the temperature, but at some point you will have to get wet. Some will do this by slowly walking into the water while others will close their eyes and jump right in.

It may by acceptable to examine a new opportunity, but at some point you are going to have to jump in and get started, or walk away from the pool and go back to your daytime job.

Like any business, it takes blood, sweat and maybe a few tears, before you can sit back, take a deep breath and 15 or 20 seconds later get back to work. There is on one looking over your shoulder and no one with a checkbook to bail you out of a financial jam. It is all you. Whether you succeed is determined by how much determination you have to make it work. Once you have decided on an internet business and have made the plunge, give it every opportunity to grow into a successful business.

Do not be afraid of change. Many people embark on a new business and after a time figure out it is not the right one for you. When this happens, you will have two options. One is to grin and bear it and stay in an unsatisfying field in another job you are not happy with. The other option is to cut your losses and find a different role or fulfill. Finding an opportunity that makes you happy with your work can more than repay you for any losses you may have suffered.

Top 5 Reasons to Start your Own Internet Business

by Boone Swann

There are many reasons why owning an Internet business is beneficial, rewarding and a great financial move. Here are the top five reasons to consider beginning an Internet business.

1. Freedom to Work when you Choose

The first benefit of owning an Internet business, is that you have the freedom to work when you choose. You no longer have to commit to the daily 9-5 schedule, but can choose a schedule that is convenient and works best for you. This allows you to have more leisure time, to stay well rested, and reduces stress. In turn, when you apply yourself to work, you will find that you will accomplish more than you normally do, due to the fact that you are less stressed.

2. Unlimited Income Potential

The second benefit to owning an Internet business is unlimited income potential. Many jobs have a financial cap on how much you can earn, however when it comes to running an Internet business, the sky is the limit. Internet businesses have the potential of reaching clients world wide, greatly increasing the amount of profits generated.

3. Controlling your Business Future

Along with freedom and unlimited income potential, running an Internet business places the power reigns in your hands. You can control your own future when you are the boss. You have no one else to answer to, and all of the decisions to be made are yours. This gives great freedom in the direction the business is run, and also lets you have room for trial and error. When you control the company, you can determine its future.

4. Freedom to Work Part Time or Full Time

One of the major advantages of owning your own Internet Business is that you have the opportunity to choose whether to work part time or full time. Working part time is a great option for those who aren’t ready to leave their careers yet. They can start out with an Internet business slowly, and then as the business increases in revenue, make the switch from their regular job to working for their Internet business full time. Running an Internet business gives business owners the opportunity to ease into their new company at their own pace and a time that is right for them.

5. Save Money by Working from Home

Finally, you will discover that it is incredibly less expensive running your Internet business then it is to work in many other fields. First, you can choose to work from home, saving money on gas and transportation costs. Advertising Internet businesses is very inexpensive, and you have the option of choosing advertising according to your budget. When you first begin your business, you may choose marketing methods that are fairly inexpensive or even free. As your business and your budget grow, you will then be able to choose other marketing ideas that are suitable for your income. However, advertising on the Internet by using means of newsletters, press releases, and other forms of marketing is considerably less expensive when compared to other forms of marketing.

Internet Business Startup Steps

by Daniel Cassidy

Everyone seems to be getting into online business these days, and the advantages of an internet business versus a more traditional setting are clear. An internet business startup is easy. You need a desk and chair, and a computer with internet access. That's it. You earn money working at home in your pajamas at any hour of the day you choose. You can even work as much or as little as you please, and you have the option of controlling which radio station is playing while you work. An internet business has very low overhead costs and tends to earn money faster than a traditional business. Sounds great, doesn't it? Sure it does, but there is more to an internet business start up than that.

First of all, you'll need some sort of internet presence and that's usually in the form of a website, though blogs are becoming increasingly popular for web presences. Some internet businesses only involve a profile page on an auction site for products or services. Whether you choose website, profile page, or blog, you're establishing your web presence. Having all three is a great internet business solution and tends to increase your exposure.

If you have a website or blog, you'll need a domain name. Choosing a domain name that is catchy, easy to remember, or relevant to your business is important. It's also important to register the different versions people might use when searching for your name, as well as the possible spelling mistakes. The more domain names you have that will direct people to your online business, the better.

You're going to have to work on marketing. There is more to setting up an online business than a flashy website and having a great product or service. Those who are successful in online businesses work hard at learning internet business solutions such as increasing their ranks with search engines. This is called search engine optimization, and without a web presence that is optimized for search engines, you aren't going to be successful.

An online business also involves promotion and marketing that a traditional business requires as well. You won't be able to assume that people will find your business or chose your website over the millions of others in the virtual world. The effort and time to promote your online business is like any other, so be prepared to have a good marketing plan as part of your internet business solution.

Develop your sales strategies and customer service skills. One difference with a traditional business and an online venture is that you're now going to be the jack of all trades in your enterprise and master of none, unless of course you hire professionals to handle areas of your business that you don't want to or can't. That isn't cost effective though, so learn how to be a salesman, as well as updating your communication skills to improve customer service and maintain client loyalty. A good internet business startup plan covers all aspects of your business that you're going to have to handle.

Lastly, be sure to have a plan for accounting and taxation. A legal business is far better than one that isn't, as there are plenty of things you'll be able to deduct at income tax time. Also, make sure that your internet business startup includes research into legal matters, copyright, and anything that might land you in hot water. For great online success, cover all the bases that a traditional business would and include internet business solutions as well.

How Do You Know If It’s A Good Internet Business Opportunity?

by: Aubrey Richardson

Now days Internet businesses are popping up all over the place and I mean that literally! Seems every time you visit a website if it isn’t already suggesting you join, just as you click to leave, you see a pop up window asking for your name and email!! There are so many of these types of ads that it has become an annoying factor, making for pop up blocking options within most browsers.

However, some of these pop ups can actually be a legitimate Internet business opportunity. The challenge comes in knowing which ones you should take action on and which ones to simply delete or ignore.

One-way to judge whether you should “sign up”, is to look (study) the information on the screen itself. No matter if it’s in the form of a pop up or you’ve gone directly to the URL address. Use your common sense, if it appeals to you and your senses chances are it will be appealing to others as well. This may make for easy or easier duplication when you decide to market or promote the same information.

A sign of a good Internet business opportunity is seeing they have an attractive lead capture page. Without an appealing lead capture page, you can bet there will not be any solid system in place to contact or follow up with your prospects. Most lead capture pages will gain the prospects name and email address as a bare minimum, others may go a bit farther and request the users phone number as well. Some even go as far as to require the individual to supply a valid address along with other items of interest such as; occupation, hobbies, etc.

The more information required the less “sign ups” however, it becomes a trade off. Requiring more information usually turns into more quality leads but less quantity. Depending on your method or preferences for following up a lead, you may prefer a “slim” selection to a detailed web form.

A good Internet business opportunity will also have a built in auto responding system. Once a lead is captured, it should request a confirmation from the prospect and immediately send the first of many auto generated letters. Prompting them to take action on your behalf. By requesting (actually requiring) a confirmation to their registration, you will eliminate bogus email addresses and eliminate SPAM accusations.

You will want to verify any testimonials or “case studies” that may be published to gain your confidence. Sometimes you will see an overkill of information making you feel as if matters must be true. When it may just be part of the marketing tactics of the promoter. The most common form of advertising today is “long copy”! Placing readers into overwhelm and giving the impression of “gosh … it must be real (true) … look at all these people’s results!” Focus on the FACTS and not the HYPE!

The old saying “Facts tell, stories sell” definitely applies when researching for a real Internet business opportunity.

A Brief Look at Building an Internet Business

by: Bernard Esterhuyse

These days everybody is talking about starting an internet based business. One of the largest advantages of this type of business is that it involves very little start-up capital and risk. You do not have to quit your job – you can start your business working after hours from home.

Accordingly the barrier to entry should be very low, and every Tom, Dick and Harry should have a web based business running, right? Wrong. Starting a web based business is easy. Sustaining a profitable web based business is hard. There are a multitude of aspects to consider, most of them quite complex and hard to understand for the average man-in-the-street.

Let’s assume you have a good business idea backed by a solid business plan. You must not underestimate the importance of having a solid business model before attempting to penetrate the massive market the internet opens up to you. Merely having a good website with no business model backing it will get you nowhere. So go sit down and construct your business model in detail, and then read further.

It is often assumed that the creation of the website is relatively simple, and that it is a question of getting someone to design a site for you. This is unfortunately not the case – the design and development of your site will entail much more than this. Note that we talk about the design and development, not just the design. Many people believe that Setting up a great website is as simple as doing a nice design, saving it as an HTML (Hypertext Markup Language for those who aren’t computer nerds), and uploading it to the web. In truth, the design is but a small part of the process. Equally as important is the development of the site.

The development of the site includes all the functionality of the site, and if you desire to have more than a static page that does nothing, the development is where the big work lies. The development includes all the scripting that allows the browser to obtain information from fields on the page, connect to a database, submit or retrieve data from the database, and all other functionality of the site. The development also includes the setup of payment functions, newsletters and security.

There are a myriad of companies offering web page design options. Before choosing a company do thorough research into what the capabilities of the company are. Have a look at the work they have done on other pages. One of the best things to do is to contact one of their clients and to ask them what their experience with the company was.

Do not underestimate the value of being able to visit the company and to be able to talk face-to-face with them. Electronic communication is a brilliant tool, but nothing beats face-to-face communication. It is therefore important to consider making use of a company that is located near you, so that you can visit them in person. Remember, the development of a website is not a short term project, and if you hope to have a successful online business, you’ll have to have a long term relationship with your web design company in order for you to keep improving and altering your site.

One alternative to consider if you do not have a large budget for your site is to make use of open-source Content Management Systems (CMS). These are systems developed that allow you to build an entire webpage that is extremely powerful. It is also very flexible, with a multitude of components and modules that plug into it that allows you to build almost any functionality into your site. You do need some web development skills to make use of this option successfully, but the system is set up in such a way as to guide you through most of the process. You can have a look at one of the leading CMS sites at www.joomla.org

It can be very rewarding to have the site created and working just like you planned. However, don’t expect to have it up and running in no time. Depending on how much time you can put into it, the process can take a long time. Many of the really impressive websites working well and generating income streams took a number of years to build to the level they are currently at.
